Fresh Start Bakeries (FSB) invests in Poland

The producer of industrial bakery products expands production capacity by constructing a new site in Poland.

The result: Up-to-date technology and sophisticated processes are the basis for highly efficient production of bakery products in B-to-B business.

The task

An internationally composed project team of FSB took the task to realise the installation and start of bakery production within 15 months. A green field project with specific challenges:

 

  • Making the land ready for building and mounting an industrial building with deep-freeze warehouse
  • Layout definition to create optimal process conditions
  • Tender and purchase
  • Project management and controlling of investment
  • SBP was consigned the tasks of technical purchase, management of suppliers and overall project coordination by FSB

  • The company is one of the biggest global suppliers of bakery products for food service and consumer markets.
